Jake, Amanda, Fallyn and Piper Hegland spent the Fourth of July weekend with Amanda’s parents in Gettysburg, S.D.

Last Friday, Tom and Pam Schmid took Pam’s brother Dan Hermanson to Grand Forks so he could have surgery on his broken arm. A wish for a speedy recovery to Dan.

Jakob and Alison were home for the weekend from Bismarck.

Lester Roberts visited Lezlee Thorson at her lake lot on Tuesday.

Lester visited Kenny and Eloise Ploium and also Mark Stenberg in Oberon on Wednesday.

Lester also visited Janice Ferry at the Home of the Good Shepherd in New Rockford one day last week.

Saturday Lester went to the cemetery in Oberon.

Saturday afternoon, Dave, Linda, Melodie, Kennedee and McKenzee Madson, Joni Duckworth from Larimore and her house guest from Idaho, Barb Ferrington, got together for lunch at a Devils Lake restaurant.

Following lunch, everyone but Dave went on to Oberon and visited Craig and Sandy Poulsen. We all enjoyed a delicious iced coffee and yummy cookies.

The group then went on to visit Kinley Poulsen and Claudette and Mitchel, Elisha, Brinlee and Ridge Poulsen and had a good visit.

Joni, Barb, Linda, Melodie, Kennedee and McKenzee and Kinley and Claudette then were supper guests of Carrie and Paul Prince and more visiting and catching up.

Craig, Joni, Kinley and Linda are first cousins. Barb was once married to another first cousin, Ron Tweit.

Gary Hendrickson and Dave Kenner visited Todd Buehler Monday.

Nadley Buehler attended the graveside service at Viking Cemetery for former teaching friend and colleague, Doris Ambers.

Hunter Buehler spent the weekend in Valley City visiting Grace Ihry. The family celebrated the birthday of Grace’s mom, Dawn Ihry.

Beau, Bria and Brittin Buehler visited Todd and Nadley Sunday afternoon.

Calvary Lutheran Church will have services Sunday, July 26 at 9 a.m. All are welcome.

On Wednesday, Fallyn Hegland participated in the youth track meet in Jamestown. She ran the 50 yard dash, 100 and 200. Lola and Liza Heer joined Jake, Amanda and Piper to cheer for Fallyn.

Fallyn finished and passed swimming lessons this week at the New Rockford pool.

Donna and Johnny Grann traveled to Madison, S.D., on Tuesday and stayed through Wednesday. They visited Bobbi Grann while there.

Bobbi and Lacey Grann competed in a rodeo in Dodge on Saturday.

Johnny Grann celebrated his 17th birthday on Friday with his family. Happy belated birthday, Johnny.
