Oberon Oracles: June 22, 2020

Lester Roberts made a trip to his farm and the cemetery in Oberon on Tuesday. He also enjoyed a phone visit from his sister June on Friday. Roger and Lester also had a phone visit on Sunday.

Dave and Linda Madson spent Friday at the farm with Carrie and Paul Prince.

Carrie visited Dave and Linda. Melodie, Kennedee and McKenzee on Sunday and helped them get ready for a garage sale next Saturday. Are they worth all the work? I am not so sure.

Dave Kenner visited Todd Buehler Saturday evening.

Grace Ihry spent the weekend at the Buehler farm.

Anniversary greetings to Todd’s sister, Debbie Hjelseth and husband Joel celebrating their 45th anniversary on Sunday.

Donna and Bobbi Grann went to Granville on Tuesday to visit and ride horses with their friends, Shelley Effertz and Ashley Martadom.

Donna, Bobbi, Lacey and Brittany Grann were in Warwick Wednesday evening teaching barrel racing and goat tying to area youth. What a nice, talented young bunch of girls and boys.

Friends and family gathered at the John Grann residence Friday evening to celebrate Donna’s belated birthday. Her birthday was in May, but the party was delayed until everyone got their crops planted.

Lacey Grann’s little rat terrier, Auggie, passed away Saturday from complications following stomach surgery. He was a good little dog and will be missed. Our sympathy to the family. The loss of a pet is always a sad thing. They are a member of the family.

Thought to Remember: One of the greatest gifts a man can give to his children is love for their mother.
