Lester Roberts had a social distanced visit with Craig, Sandy and Kinley Poulsen in Oberon on Friday.
Saturday, Lester visited with Gene Woolley. Later in the day, he stopped by Lezlee Thorson’s camp site at the lake and also visited with granddaughter, Kayla Thorson. He is happy to report he has a fresh haircut thanks to Lezlee.
Lester now has another week of quarantine in “Stalag 17”.
Howard and Parker Schmid mowed and trimmed the yard at Calvary church in Oberon on Friday.
Howard and Helen visited relatives at the Oberon, Selz and Grandfield cemeteries over the weekend. The Schmid’s visited Helen’s brother and sister-in-law DeLanis and Linda Thomas following their visit to the Selz cemetery. At Grandfield, they ran into some living relatives and enjoyed a visit with them.
On the way home from the cemetery visits, Howard and Helen enjoyed supper at Harrimans in Maddock.
Doris Griffin reports a “population explosion” at her barn. As of Sunday morning, there was one gosling nuzzling it’s mother with more to come and three new baby chicks. The mother goose is very protective of her babies and hides them under her as soon as they hatch.
Donna, Bobbi and Brittany Grann hauled goats to West Fargo on Tuesday so they could sell on Wednesday at the “Sheep Palace”.
Lacey and Bobbi Grann competed in a barrel racing event in Dickinson on Friday.
Visitors at Ben and Brittany Grann’s residence on Sunday were Brittany’s brother, Tyler, and his wife Lydia and daughter Rylie from Fargo. Rylie enjoyed all the animals on the farm and especially feeding the bottle calf.
Sunday, John, Donna, Bobbi and Johnny attended the graduation open house for Jacob Arnold at his family farm near Esmond.
Nadley Buehler joined Carol Fossum and Sherry Boehmer for lunch on Thursday.
Breana Buehler Pacheco, Mavis and Waylon spent the weekend at the Buehler farm.
Sherry and Mike Boehmer brought supper to the Buehler farm Sunday evening. Grace Ihry also came Sunday to visit Hunter and have supper with the family.
Friday afternoon, Nadley and granddaughter, Brittin stopped by Randy and Charlotte Simon’s home.
Friday, Charlotte attended the funeral for Gloria Gigstad. Our sympathy to Gloria’s family.
Following the service, Charlotte met RaeAnn Lynne at St. Williams church in Maddock and they cleaned out the rock/flower beds.
Friday evening, Randy and Charlotte enjoyed supper at the Old Highway 281 Tavern in Minnewaukan.
Sunday, Charlotte visited the cemetery in Knox to remember her father with flowers.
Sunday evening, Randy and Charlotte went to the Oberon cemetery to place flowers on Jack and Gert Simon’s graves.
Dave and Linda Madson were in New Rockford on business on Thursday morning.
Saturday afternoon, Linda and Carrie Prince placed flags to honor the American Legion and Auxiliary members at the Oberon cemetery.
Carrie spent Sunday with Dave, Linda and Melodie Madson. Paul joined the group later.
