On Sunday, Steph Loe and mom Jan were in Minnewaukan where they had a safe-distancing visit with Jan’s niece Pam and Brian Hill of Grand Forks. The Hills were at their summer place there. While there, Steph picked up a boat motor that her uncle Jim Woodrow had sent for her.

Shirley Westby received Happy Mother’s Day phone calls from son Steve in Arizona, daughter Kathy in Washington and son Ross and Kristi, also in Arizona. Later, Shirley’s daughter Paula Seiler from New Rockford stopped in for a Mother’s Day visit. Her son Neil and Laurie Westby also stopped by with Mother’s Day greetings for Shirley.

David and Diane Karlsbraaten enjoyed a facetime visit with their daughters and families from West Fargo on Sunday. They, along with the grandkids, had Mother’s Day greetings for Diane.

Bonnie Deegan received Mother’s Day greetings via phone calls from her son Paul in New Mexico and her daughter Terry McCraney in Nebraska. Later, Bonnie met with daughter Laina and granddaughter Averi for a quick safe-distancing visit. Bonnie also had Mother’s Day greetings from granddaughter Charleigh in New Mexico.

Steve Loe called his mom Jan with Mother’s Day greetings on Sunday. Jan’s granddaughter also called her wishing her a Happy Mother’s Day.

Rance and Jena Brown of Sun Prairie, Wisc., called mom Patti Clifton on Sunday to wish her a Happy Mother’s Day.

Jan Loe recently called Susan Burgstahler to wish her a belated Happy Birthday. Jan and Susan grew up together in Oberon and have remained in contact with each other over the years.
