Because the Memorial Home in Maddock is limiting visitors, the Woodcarvers will be meeting at the Community Center until further notice.

Lester Roberts was in New Rockford on business Thursday. Sunday afternoon, Midge Quam visited Lester and Sunday evening Chad Getscher visited him.

Pam Schmid attended a bridal shower for her niece, Katie Hoffman in Munich on Saturday.

Charlotte Simon took in the Benson County Music Festival held in Maddock on Wednesday. Grades 3 through 6 took part. Easton Simon participated in vocal and band. Thursday, Randy and Charlotte traveled to Bismarck where Randy attended the statewide NDREC meeting. While Randy was at the meeting, Charlotte enjoyed some shopping. The Simons attended the funeral for Donna Rice at North Viking Church on Friday. Our sympathy to Donna’s family. Saturday, Randy and Charlotte attended the family service for Hal Paulson at the Nelson Funeral Home in Maddock. Our sympathy to the Paulson family. Randy and Charlotte treated their grandsons, Easton and Jaxon to the movie, “Call of the Wild” in Devils Lake Sunday afternoon.

Paul and Carrie Prince puppy-sat Morgan Monday and Tuesday nights.

Dave and Linda Madson traveled to Grand Forks on business Tuesday. Wednesday, the Madson’s visited Paul and Carrie and brought Morgan home.

Donna Grann spent Wednesday and Thursday in Bismarck at Soil Conservation meetings. Thursday, John Grann attended a bull sale in Rugby. Lacey Grann and friend, Brooklyn Vollmer, spent the weekend in Grand Island, Neb. Bobbi Grann joined them there. The Grann family met Ted Zaharia, (Brittany’s dad) Scott Brown and Steve Houston from Bathgate, N.D., at the Spirit Lake Casino for supper Sunday evening.

Thought to Remember: The only person who gets anywhere playing both ends against the middle is an accordion player.
