Harvest window closing

Farmers have been racing against the clock to get as much of their 2019 crop harvested and grain hauled as they can before spring thaw wreaks havoc on roads and fields.

In the photo above, the Gavilon, LLC elevator east of New Rockford was flush with corn from the recent harvest activity.
