Doris Griffin was privileged to work at the Benson County Spelling Bee held at the Cankdeska Cikana Community College in Fort Totten. Doris enjoyed a very nice mini-tour through the beautiful facility.

Friday afternoon, Dave Kenner visited Todd Buehler. Weekend visitors at the Buehler farm were Elisa and Joe Wentz and Maynard of Bismarck and Breana and Michael Pacheco and Mavis of Watford City. Beau, Bria and Brittin joined the family Saturday evening for supper. Hunter Buehler spent the weekend in Fargo visiting friends and attending a concert with Grace Ihry.

Tuesday, Linda Madson attended the Ramsey County Spelling Bee. Great-granddaughter, Kennedee Madson was one of the 10 finalists. Linda accompanied Melodie, Kennedee and McKenzee Madson to the Devils Lake Firebirds and Fargo Davies hockey game. The Lake Region Skating Club Synchro team skated between the second and third periods. Kennedee and McKenzee are members of the team. Dwight and Carol Eckart of Bismarck were weekend guests at Dave and Linda Madson’s home. Their grandson, Hayden is a member of a Bismarck hockey team and they played in the Olson Hockey Tournament at the Burdick arena Saturday and Sunday. Their team won all their games and took first place in the tournament. Sunday afternoon, Linda, Melodie and McKenzee visited briefly at Carrie and Paul Prince’s home.

Lacey and Bobbi Grann attended the Black Hills Stock Show in Rapid City, S.D., over the weekend. Bobbi was a barrel racing contestant in the rodeo. Donna Grann worked in the office with friends at the annual Kenner Simmental Ranch bull sale on Saturday. Ben and Brittany Grann spent Saturday in Langdon.

Lester Roberts attended the elevator meeting in Sheyenne on Tuesday. Lester’s Sunday visitors were Roger, Lezlee Thorson and Midge Quam and her daughter.
