Tom and Pam Schmid traveled to Mesa, Ariz., to visit Howard and Helen Schmid last weekend. Tom took in the UND hockey game in Grand Forks on Saturday.

Chad Getscher visited Lester Roberts on Thursday evening. Saturday, Lester and Roger went for a drive to check out what is going on in the countryside. Lezlee Thorson and Roger were Lester’s Sunday visitors. Lezlee and Melodie Madson enjoyed lunch together on Wednesday.

Doris Griffin attended the Sheyenne River Watershed Grant meeting in Hamburg on Thursday.

David Kenner visited Todd Buehler on Thursday afternoon. Friday evening, Brittin Buehler visited Todd, Nadley and Hunter. Sherry Boehmer of Devils Lake joined Nadley for an afternoon get-together. Beau, Bria and Brittin Buehler brought supper and watched the Super Bowl at the North Buehler farm.

Weekend guest at the Ben and Brittany Grann residence was Ben Ayr from Glendive, Mont. Lacey Grann and friend, Steph Kropp from Jamestown traveled together to compete in a barrel racing event at the NDSU horse barn on Saturday. Sunday, John, Donna and Johnny Grann and Stephen Merrick joined Derek and Mandy Johnson in their ice fishing house to watch the Super Bowl Sunday evening.

Linda Madson’s nephew, Kelly VenHuizen of Cooperstown visited Dave and Linda Thursday afternoon.

Thought to Remember: Marriage is a union that can’t be organized when both sides think they’re management.
