Lester Roberts attended the Lake Region Roundup on Tuesday. Wednesday, Lester and his brother, Roger, went to Grand Forks where Roger kept a medical appointment. While they were enjoying lunch, they found themselves dining next to Judy Wallace and her husband, Don. Judy is formerly from Oberon. Lester’s visitors on Friday were Chad Getscher and Lezlee Thorson. On Sunday, Lezlee, Roger and Chad visited Lester.

Doris Griffin attended the Christmas get-together of the Minnewaukan 55 Club on Friday. The Minnewaukan club invited the clubs from Maddock, Leeds and Esmond.

Hunter Buehler and Grace Ihry traveled to Frisco, Texas to watch the Bison play the championship game and to do some touring of the area.

Joe and Elisa Wentz of Bismarck and new puppy, Maynard and Breana Pacheco and Mavis of Watford City spent the weekend at the Buehler farm. Beau, Bria and Brittin Buehler joined the family at the Todd and Nadley Buehler farm for Sunday dinner and cake to celebrate Joe’s birthday. Happy belated birthday, Joe.

Charlotte Simon went to Grand Forks last Sunday to the home of Carson and Heidi Thompson. She stayed with Elin after she had her tonsils and adenoids removed. Charlotte returned home on Wednesday.

Bobbi Grann won the barrel racing at Northside/Stockyards Rodeo in Ft. Worth, Texas Friday night. Congratulations, Bobbi! Ben and Brittany Grann attended the UND hockey game Friday night. John, Donna and Lacey Grann took in the Lake Region Extension Roundup in Devils Lake on Wednesday.

Dave and Linda Madson visited James Nelson on Thursday afternoon. Friday, Dave and Linda traveled to Grand Forks where Linda kept a medical appointment. Cathy Caulfield of Jamestown was her sister, Melodie Madson’s guest at her Christmas party Friday evening and spent the night. Cathy also visited Dave and Linda Friday night. Saturday, Dave and Linda were overnight guests at Carrie and Paul Prince’s home in Oberon. Cathy was also an overnight guest.

Last Friday, Jake, Amanda, Fallyn and Piper Hegland were in Fargo for medical appointments.

Last Saturday, the Hegland’s went to McIntosh, S.D. to watch Amanda’s niece play basketball. They then spent the night at Amanda’s parents’ home in Gettysburg, S.D. Amanda’s siblings joined the group and they celebrated Christmas.
