Sunday Dec. 29, Amber and Mitch Sylling became the proud parents of son number two, Boden Meric. He weighed in at 7 lbs, 13 oz., and joins big brother Weston. He makes David and Karen Anderson grandparents and Margie Anderson a great grand.

Shirley Packard enjoyed a short visit Sunday morning with Edgar Duda at Golden Acres Manor in Carrington. Later Shirley and son Calvin took in the Knights of Columbus breakfast at St. John’s Catholic Church in New Rockford.

New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the family of Ted Allmaras. Many family and friends attended the family service Friday evening and the funeral Saturday morning at St. John's Catholic Church in New Rockford.

New Years Day dinner and afternoon guest at the Janet Laube home was Charlotte Koepplin.

Brief stoppers at the Candy Jensen home Tuesday were Rick and Cora Koepp in and granddaughter Katie. The Koepplin’s were en-route back to their home in Devils Lake after enjoying the New Years celebration with friends in Bismarck.

Saturday bringing New Years greetings to Janet Laube was granddaughter Carlyss Newfeld of Rolla. They enjoyed a family catch up.

Karen Koepplin headed to Dickinson Sunday afternoon where she enjoyed the week with Ross and Allyssa Lewis and Kenna, helping out and having fun with granddaughter Kenna while mom and dad worked.
