Jakob Schmid and Alison Widmer spent Christmas Day with Tom and Pam Schmid. Friday evening, Tom and Pam had supper with Tina, Rachel and Mandy Hermanson at the New Rockford Golf Club. Tom, Pam and JD met Doug and Parker Schmid for dinner at The Cove on Sunday to celebrate Christmas with them.
Lester Roberts, Kayla Thorson and a friend from Victoria, Minn., and Lezlee Thorson spent Christmas Day and were overnight guests at Ryan, Megan and Aiden Thorson’s home in Grand Forks. Chad Getscher visited Lester Sunday evening.
Cathy and Shawn Caulfield of Jamestown and Paul and Carrie Prince, Dave and Linda Madson were Christmas Eve and Christmas Day guests at Melodie Madson’s home. Paul and Carrie were overnight guests at Dave and Linda’s while Cathy and Shawn were overnight guests at Melodie’s.
Linda Madson and neighbor, Mr. Syl Brown were Sunday afternoon coffee guests at Melodie’s home.
Christmas Eve guests at the John Grann family home were: Ben and Brittany Grann; Ted Zaharia from Bathgate; Allan Howard and kids, Scott Bennett from Pingree; Ashley Schuster from New Rockford; Gene Woolley; and Zac Johnson and Elise Burwell from Minnewaukan. Johnny Grann and Stephen Merrick gave Lacey Grann an early ride Christmas Day to Fargo to catch an 8 a.m. flight to Dallas, Texas to spend a week with Bobbi Grann in Stephenville. John and Donna enjoyed a delicious Christmas Day dinner in Sheyenne at Ostby Hall.
Elisa and Joe Wentz of Bismarck and Breana, Michael and Mavis Pacheco of Watford City spent a few days at the Buehler farm celebrating Elisa’s birthday and the Christmas holiday with the family. Beau, Bria and Brittin Buehler joined the family Tuesday and Wednesday at the Buehler farm. Randy and Charlotte Simon visited the Buehler family on Christmas Eve. Grace Ihry of Fargo was a Christmas Day guest at the Buehler home.
Thursday afternoon, Sherry and Mike Boehmer visited the Buehler family. Later that day, Gary, Gail and Wyatt Hendrickson also stopped by for a visit. Brittin Buehler spent Friday at Todd and Nadley’s visiting the family.
Calvary Lutheran Church in Oberon will have their annual meeting following 9 a.m. services on Jan. 12.
Christmas Eve supper at Jarvis and Patty Hegland’s home was shared with Jake, Amanda, Fallyn and Piper Hegland, Mike and Jill Zietz, Emma, Rosa, Silas and Logan, Emily Stadheim, Greg and Cindy Hegland and Tyrel and Kiersten Hegland. Christmas Day, the group enjoyed dinner with Lola Heer, Liza and Zach of Jamestown.
