New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the families of Donald Norton, Gary King and Tilman Scanson.

Thanksgiving dinner guests at the David and Karen Anderson home were son Eric, Mitch and Amber Sylling and Weston and Margie Anderson. 

Oh boy, Kim Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Gary Lindquist and Calvin Packard sure enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings at the Shirley Packard home. All enjoyed visiting and of course taking ieft overs home.

Martin and Eloise Lucht and Scott and Kim Lucht of Rochester, Minn. Were Wednesday overnight guests at the Jay and Heidi Schneider home in Devils Lake, waking up Thanksgiving morning and sharing in the preparation of a traditional meal of the day. Scott and Kim left early Friday and made it home just ahead of the predicted snow storm.

Dec. 1 found Ken and Marvis Holte celebrating their 41st wedding anniversary.

They received good wishes from daughter Fayette and Donnie Nelson and other family.

Thanksgiving guests at the Lillian Gedrose home were Duane and Patrice Gedrose of Washburn and Amy Gedrose of Fargo. Lillian also received phone calls and cards from other family filled with good wishes of the day.

The Terry and Sandy Koepplin home was the scene of a Thanksgiving supper with David and Melony Allmaras, Wyatt and Coby, Michael and Tracy Allmaras and TJ and Alexis Koepplin and family and Candy Jensen all joining in sharing the bounty.

Thanksgiving guests at the Martin and Janelle Koepplin home were Aaron and Danielle Koepplin, Kerigan, Carter and Chevelle, Taylor and Amanda Koepplin, Todd and Karen Koepplin and Charlotte Koepplin. An abundance of food was assembled. All enjoyed eating, playing whist and Chinese checkers and taking pictures in between glances at the

football games.

Thanksgiving found Janet Laube and grandson Travis Laube and friend Malissa enjoying the massive Buffet Banquet at Spirit Lake Casino. Janet also received Thanksgiving phone calls from other grandkids and nieces.

Shirley Packard received a Thanksgiving phone call from daughter Cheryl and Dave Gabbert. The call came from Fresno, Calif., where the couple continue their tour of the United States.

Tuesday Marvis Holte called her sister Penny Sorrells of Brooklyn Park, Minn., and wished her a happy birthday.

Ken and Marvis Holte were Thanksgiving guests at daughter Amanda and Cody Bickett am Izzy. All received good wishes of the day from Ardy Yates of Arkansas, Loren Holte and family of Bismarck and Donnie and Fayette Nelson of Jamestown. Fayette had the good news that she bad been picked December employee of the month at her job in the Deli at Cash Wise in Jamestown.

Candy Jensen heard from her sons, Derik Holte and Val of Minneapolis and Jerrod and Angie Holte of Mapelton over the Thanksgiving weekend plus a special call from Derik on Sunday.

Janet Laube received a phone call Sunday from niece Lisa Paulson of Fargo that Lisa’s mother Lois Ockert was home and doing fine after a four day stay over Thanksgiving in a Fargo hospital.

Orrin Gedrose was a Sunday guest at his mother's Lillian Gedrose. Orrin has since made a trip to Texas to get acquainted with a new grandbaby.
