Funds needed for annual holiday outreach
In mid-November, the Eddy County Sheriff's Office launched at fundraising drive for the annual Shop with a Sheriff event. As of Nov. 16, they had reached 30% of their goal, and they posted the following graphic on Facebook to thank their donors.
The Eddy County Sheriff's Office is at it again. On Thursday, Dec. 12, deputies, highway patrol, and other law enforcement officers from around the area will be hosting the annual Shop with the Sheriff event. This program not only gives youngsters an "unique shopping experience" but also fosters positive relationships with law enforcement.
