Last week, Amanda Hegland spoke at the New Rockford-Sheyenne National Honor Society induction at the school.

Jake, Amanda, Fallyn and Piper went to Fargo last Saturday, Nov. 16. Jake and Fallyn went to the Bison football game and Amanda and Piper found things to do around Fargo.

Donna and Johnny Grann spent Monday morning in Grand Forks getting Johnny’s wisdom teeth removed. Ouch!!

Bobbi Grann headed for Texas Tuesday, a day before the snowfall. She and her horses safely arrived in Stephenville late Wednesday evening.

Bruce Engelhardt from Mandan was a Thursday evening hunter and visitor at the John Grann residence.

Lacey Grann competed in a barrel race in Verndale, Minnesota on Saturday.

Neal Swenson and Dave Kenner visited Todd Buehler this week.

Nadley Buehler traveled to Harvey Friday afternoon and joined her sister Laurie Pranke for supper. Grace Ihry visited Hunter Buehler over the weekend.

On Saturday, Nadley accompanied Mavis Mahoney for a road trip to Hunter, N.D. for the wedding of Cassie Leraas and Jamie Kallenbach.

Brittin and Beau visited Todd Saturday afternoon.

Doris Griffin took a webinar computer class on workplace safety on Monday.

Monday afternoon, Doris did carving in Maddock at the Memorial Home and Monday evening in Devils Lake.

Doris traveled to Grand Forks and did some shopping at Menards on Friday.

Saturday, Doris attended the board meeting at Dakota Prairie Community Action.

Randy and Charlotte Simon attended the Maddock elementary concert where Easton (grade 6) and Jaxon (grade 4) Simon were participants. This was held Tuesday evening.

Thursday, Randy and Charlotte went to Easton and Jaxon’s basketball game— Maddock vs. Rugby.

The Madson family was excited to attend the informal wedding of Carrie Madson and Paul Prince at Calvary Lutheran Church in Oberon Saturday afternoon. The attendants were Carrie’s sister, Cathy Caulfield of Jamestown, and Paul’s brother, Jay. McKenzee Madson appointed herself the flower girl and Kennedee and Melodie Madson took videos.

Cathy’s husband, Shawn, was also a guest along with Carrie’s parents, Dave and Linda.

The ceremony was conducted by Pastor Jeff Halvorson. Congratulations to Carrie and Paul.

Everyone have a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
