Customer service that sparkles and shines

This month's Employee of the Month award goes to Faith Presnell of Central Pharmacy. Her nomination comes from Stacy Benz who said quote, "Personal service is definitely shown and I would not find this out of town."

For nearly 10 years now, Faith has worked the floor of the pharmacy. She has been there as her friends and neighbors stock up on the treatments best suited to knock the common cold to the ground. She has seen the same people stop in on better days, selecting gifts and cards for those they care about most.

Joan Shroyer works alongside Faith and says, "we couldn't function without her" and goes on to say that Faith is both helpful and knowledgeable.

Prior to working at Central Pharmacy, Faith made the commute to work at Wal-Mart in Devils Lake. Eventually she found herself looking for something new. It wasn't long before Barb Granger mentioned that Central Pharmacy was hiring part-time. The rest was history.

Faith's experience in retail and display paid off at the pharmacy, which always seems to have a new theme at play. Faith says her favorite time of year to decorate the pharmacy is Christmas. "We get a lot of flack from the customers, but we have to get the displays up early, so we get out the lights and glitter and have a lot of fun," she says.

Through the years, it seems Faith has learned everything she could have ever wanted to know about the items on display and for sale at the pharmacy. She even does the billing, ordering, and stocking. The one thing for sure is that the selection is always changing at Central Pharmacy. Faith explains that they have expanded their clothing lines to include Rocket gear as well as affordable and fashionable pieces.

With the holiday season upon us, don't forget to stop into the pharmacy. Bring some holiday cheer with a bit of decor or lift the spirits of someone special with a unique gift item. Best of all, once you've selected that perfect item, Faith can "put a bow on it" using her gift wrapping talents. Remember, gift wrapping is free at Central Pharmacy!
