Rockets rout Tigers in 9-man playoff

Bo Belquist leaped over his opponents and into the endzone in the Saturday afternoon contest on Farmers Union Field at Central Cass High School.

It's one of the goals good football teams work for all year, the right to host a playoff game.

It didn't quite work out as planned on the NR-S Rockets' end, but the team's adopted home turf at Farmers Union Field in Casselton ended up being a much more stable surface for one of the Nine-Man division's title contenders to show their stuff than the standing water blanketing Jim Johnson Field back home would have been.

The Rockets began their journey towards the Dakota Bowl with a 60-14 win over the Tri-State (Fairmount-Campbell-Tintah/Rosholt, S.D.) Tigers Saturday afternoon, Oct. 26.
