After WWII we joined the United Nations— to ensure peace. Has that worked?

Human rights was another reason for the UN. It even has a “human rights” council (UNHRC)— with current and past members like Cuba, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, Democratic Republic of the Congo, China, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, etc. The newest member? Venezuela!
