Saturday afternoon, Pam Schmid, Craig and Sandy Poulsen, David and Bonnie Tweten, Randy and Charlotte Simon, Neal and Liz Swenson, Jarvis and Patty Hegland, Kay Griffin, Shirley Nelson, Dave and Linda Madson were among the many friends and relatives who attended Breana Buehler and Michael Pacheco wedding at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Devils Lake. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Pacheco.

Sunday, Pam Schmid traveled to Bismarck to spend the day with Jakob and Alison Widmer.

Doris Griffin conducted the carving class in Maddock on Monday.

Tuesday, Doris attended the District Health Unit Board meeting in Devils Lake.

Doris attended the Timely Topics meeting followed by the 55 Club meeting in Minnewaukan Wednesday.

Friday, Doris took a class on chain maille sponsored by the Maddock Sons of Norway and taught by Carol Thompson.

Lester Roberts visited James Nelson on Sunday.

John Grann and family were in Casselton to cheer on the NR-S Rockets football team in the first round of playoffs. They played the Tri-State Tigers and won the game.

The Roughriders Rodeo finals were held in Jamestown Friday-Sunday. The Grann’s competing were Ben in Tie Down Roping, Brittany in Barrel Racing, Bobbi and Lacey in Goat Tying.

John, Donna and Johnny watched them compete Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

Friday, Oct. 18, Jake, Amanda and Piper Hegland were in Fargo for Piper’s doctor appointments.

On Saturday, Jake and Amanda attended the Bison game.

Fallyn stayed Thursday-Saturday with her cousins at Grandma Patty’s house.

Amanda, Fallyn and Piper went to Gettysburg, S.D. for the weekend.

On Saturday, the Hegland’s went to Huron, S.D. to watch Amanda’s niece Austin Alexander, run in the state cross ountry meet. Austin placed 14th out of 120 runners and her team placed 5th.

Sunday, Joe and Dorothy Lamb of Onida, came up to Gettysburg for breakfast.

Lester Roberts was in Minnewaukan, Sheyenne and New Rockford on business on Friday.

Roger visited Lester on Saturday.

Sunday, Lester drove to Maddock to attend the Farmers Union annual convention.

Sunday, Oct. 20, Charlotte Simon traveled to Bismarck to spend the day with her sister, Linda Duchscher.

Randy and Charlotte attended the reception and dance following Breana and Michael’s wedding.

Randy and Charlotte enjoyed the soup lunch served following Mass on Sunday. Sunday evening, the Simon’s had supper at the Casino.

Dave and Linda Madson traveled to Grand Forks on Thursday where Linda kept a medical appointment. The Madson’s stayed overnight and kept an early morning appointment on Friday.

Saturday, Carrie Madson, Paul and Jay Prince were lunch guests at the Madson’s home. Melodie Madson , Kennedee and McKenzee were after lunch visitors.

Dave and Linda attended the reception following Breana and Michael’s wedding.

Linda visited Carrie, Paul and Jay Sunday following church services in Oberon.
