Obituary: Louis Schlossnagle

Louis Lee Schlossnagle, 84, of Bowdon, N.D., died Oct. 17, 2019 at his home.

Louis was born in West Virginia, on Oct. 4, 1935, to Ethel Laymann and Clair Prost. Right out of high school, Louis enlisted in the U.S. Army as a private during the latter part of the Korean War, serving in the Army until 1953.

He moved to California, and met Judy Williamson, who he married on Dec., 24, 1969 in Grangeville, Idaho.

He was a working class man, who held multiple jobs during his life.

Louie is survived by his loving wife; his children, Shelly (David Sr.) Archuletta, Melody Rodrigues, Veronica Perry, Joy Schlossnagle, Sonya Rose and Johnnie Moore; two brothers Ellis (Linda) Schlossnagle, Roy (Judy) Schlossnagle; two sisters Darlene Almon and Linda (Denny) Sanders; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Russel Schlossnagle and one stepson Glen Williamson.
