A number of area folks took in International Credit Union Day on Thursday, Oct. 17 at Community Credit Union in New Rockford. All enjoyed dinner prepared and served by the Credit Union staff, and signed up for door prizes.

Martin and Janelle Koepplin and KC left Thursday for Brainerd, Minn., where they were long weekend guests of daughter Trisha and Jay, Wylie, Zaylie and Max McMonagle and helped grandson Wylie celebrate his seventh birthday in style.

Kim Johnson was a Wednesday helper at the Shirley Packard home, and Todd Harrison was a Sunday visitor.

Candy Jensen accompanied Charlotte Koepplin to Harvey on Friday where they took care of medical business and enjoyed lunch at JW's before returning to New Rockford. Martin and Eloise Lucht drove to Devils Lake Friday where Eloise got good news following her appointment at the Eye Clinic. Later they stopped in at the Glen and Ardy Salisbury home for a visit.

Saturday Janet Laube and Yip Yip brought pizza to share with Charlotte Koepplin and Candy Jensen at the Koe plin home. The gals enjoyed visiting and watching all the good old time music shows on RFD-TV.

Tuesday visitor at the Ken and Marvis Holte home was daughter Amanda Bickett and Izzy bringing garden tomatoes to share. Thursday the Holte's were shoppers in

Jamestown and coffee guests at daughter Fayette and Donnie Nelson's home, taking home some of Fayette’s canned refrigerator pickles.

Saturday Calvin Packard accompanied Tim Hartl to Fargo where they attended a Bison Football game. Later they were visitors and supper guests at the Jay and Kathy Lill home where they also visited with Rodney and Marvel Ebenhan, and yet later Tim and Calvin drove the Ebenhans to their home in Sheyenne.

Sunday found Ken and Marvis Holte among those who enjoyed a turkey supper with all the trimmings at Trinity Lutheran Church in Carrington.
