Receive NDTC grant funds

Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd Administrator Kim Jensrud and Communications and Support Coordinator Becky Hilbert accepted a check in the amount of $2,500 from Jarred Wilhelmi of NDTC.

These grant funds will support the purchase of a new medication cart, which will provide the community with safer medication administration, pharmaceutical supplies, storage, and the ability to mobilize electronic health records. The double-locked cart will also provide added safety to LHGS residents, and give the nursing staff more time to provide care.

Fall Festival held Sunday

The annual Fall Festival at the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd was held Sunday, Oct. 6, was a fun-filled afternoon for all those who attended. There were a lot of pies, desserts, lemonade and coffee to enjoy while visiting with old and new friends— as well as a lot of baked goods to purchase and take home.

The LHGS Auxiliary designated the funds from this event to assure all residents at LHGS have birthday and Christmas gifts to open. The annual meeting was also held on this date.
