Belquist, Haley crowned at coronation

The 2019 Homecoming festivities began Monday with cornation in the NR-S Gym.

In a short ceremony, Bo Belquist was named King, and Hannah Haley was crowned Queen. Bo is the son of Elliott and Beth Belquist, while Hannah is the daughter of Todd and Allison Haley.

The Homecoming Court stood outside for a quick photo afterwards and are pictured at left, from right to left: Hunter Thompson, Tessa Dockter, King Bo Belquist, Queen Hannah Haley, Cole Johnson, Ashlynn Benson, Benjamin Schaefer and McKenzie Jensen.

Activities continued throughout the week, culminating with the Homecoming football game against North Border Friday and dance afterwards. See next week's paper for the results of both the football game and the volleyball match Thursday in Carrington.
