New Rockford and area residents extend sympathy to the family of 107-year-old Gertie Omoth.

Friday morning Janet Laube enjoyed a visit over coffee at the Beverly Koepplin home and was a Saturday dinner and afternoon company at the Charlotte Koepplin home.

Monday Betty Westby picked up Shirley Packard and the gals were among the Legion Auxiliary to attend a supper and meeting to follow at Sarah Smith Warren's Photography Studio.

Martin and Janelle Koepplin were among those who attend funeral service for Eileen Aultman Friday morning at the Federated Church in Carrington. Martin celebrated his 68th birthday Sept. 7, receiving cards and calls filled with good wishes.

Wednesday evening Todd Harrison and Phoenix, his new pup were visitors at the Shirley Packard home. Thursday Shirley accompanied Elaine Thompson to the Cassidy Clifton benefit at the Eagles Club in New Rockford. Wednesday afternoon son Calvin drove Shirley to Devils Lake where they did some shopping and Shirley had an appointment at the Eye Clinic.

Terry and Sandy Koepplin, TJ and Alexis Koepplin, David and Melony Allmaras, Michael and Traci Allmaras, Candy Jensen, Martin and Janelle Koepplin, Beverly Koepplin and Mike and Jackie Williams and Tony and Gina Clifton and Dawson were among the many to attend the benefit in honor of Cassidy Clifton Thursday evening at the Eagles Club in New Rockford.

Sunday morning following worship service at Grace Lutheran Church in Carrington Shirley Packard and Calvin checked on Edgar Duda at Golden Acres Manor and also visited briefly with Sylvia Kjos there.

Martin and Eloise Lucht spoke with son Larry and family who lives out in Virginia, and learned that hurricane Dorian has left them high and dry with much needed moisture in their area, but dealt them with plenty of wind.
