Events and education planned for Suicide Prevention Awareness Month

As September is suicide awareness month, Eddy County Community Cares is planning its fifth annual Lights of Hope. This event serves to remember those who've died by suicide, and to bring awareness to the epidemic.

This year's Lights of Hope will be held on Sunday, Sept. 29. Meet at the Rockford Theatre at 5 p.m. for the movie, "Suicide: The Ripple Effect." (More to come on the details of this...
