The NR-S cross country team, led by sixth-year Head Coach Cherry Heinz, began their fall season with a meet at Parkhurst Recreation Area just north of Jamestown on Saturday, Aug. 24. The team will be a bit smaller than last season numbers-wise, but hope to improve as the season moves along. The East Region meet will be in Cooperstown on October 19, with the state meet at Souris River Golf Club in Minot the following Saturday, October 26.
