Garden tours to benefit medical center

The Carrington Medical Center Auxiliary is hosting a self-guided Yard and Garden Tour on Tuesday, July 23 from 4:30-8:30 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the tour will be July 25. Six yards will be featured on the tour.

 • Wayne and Kay Evans, 560 5th Avenue South

 • Dennis and Carla Hagel, 405 Hwy 281 NE

 • Paul Richter and Patty Vivier, 1075 3rd Street S

 • Doug and Jenny Wede, 645 Hwy 281 SE

 Tickets are $10 in advance, and $15 the day of and are available at Garden Gate, Chamber Office, Happy Heart Gift Shop, Carrington Drug, Central Pharmacy (Carrington and New Rockford), and Auxiliary Board members.

Raffle prizes include a garden bench with pillows, lantern with vase and florals, flower cart with fern, $100 Runnings gift certificate, and $50 gift certificate to the Happy Heart Hutch Gift Shop. Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5.

Drawings for prizes will be held at 8 p.m. at the Paul Richter and Patty Vivier yard.

All proceeds will be matched by Modern Woodman. Proceeds from the tour will go towards purchasing medical equipment for the Carrington Medical Center.
