Guests over the weekend at the Ervin Longnecker and Eric and Lisa Longnecker homes were Bob and Sheryl Longnecker and Mary Schrode of Minnesota and Jim Brown and Cindy Allen Longnecker of Eagle Idaho. All enjoyed taking part in the annual Circle Trail Riders Inc. summer ride. They enjoyed gathering here and there visiting and eating; golfing and a little R&R tossed in. All left for their homes Monday.

Wednesday afternoon found Ed Weisenburger visiting at the Charlotte Koepplin home.

Margie Anderson and Karen Anderson took birthday greetings to Patti Larson one afternoon enjoying visiting over coffee and treats. Sandra Larson was off to a science camp in West Virginia.

Some of the areas outdoor and horse lovers enjoyed the weekend ride with the Circle Trail Riders Inc. Despite rain storms, heat and humidity, Cory and Katie Jorgensen and Family, Ervin Longnecker, Eric and Lisa Longnecker and family, Dale and Diane Rosenberg, Nancy Ludwig, Jay Cudworth, Dianne Goebel, Joan McConnick, Eileen Williams, McKenzie Olafson and Charlotte Koepplin enjoyed all the goings on of the ride.

Sunday afternoon brief callers at the Charlotte Koepplin home were Ervin Longnecker and Cindy Allen.

Sunday, Margie Anderson and Karen Anderson drove to Hillsboro where they attended worship service at the United Parish Church and a fellowship brunch following in honor of Pastor Dale Emery as all celebrated his retirement from the ministry and fifty years of service to his Lord and Savior. Pastor Emery had been at United Parish for seven years and had been pastor to Kvernes Lutheran and United Methodist Churches of rural Carrington and in New Rockford. Pastor Emery sent his regards to his former parishioners here.

Tuesday morning Charlotte Koepplin was in Carrington where she got good news following an eye appointment. Martin Koepplin was a brief afternoon visitor at Charlotte's.

Jimmy Indergaard and Merle Longnecker were Friday stoppers at the Ervin Longnecker home. Saturday found Jimmy a visitor and dinner guest at the Mervin Indergaard home.

Margie Anderson and Karen Anderson enjoyed a visit one afternoon with Edgar Duda and Golden Acres Manor in Carrington.

Charlotte Koepplin and Candy Jensen drove to Devils Lake on business and pleasure. Sunday evening Laura Hager and Jakoby stopped in at Grama Margie Anderson's.
