Failed pump delays pool opening

Kristi Swenson approached the city commission at its June 3 meeting on behalf of the New Rockford Park District. She announced that the opening of the pool is delayed due to failure of the main circulation pump. Associated Pools planned to rebuild the pump and return it later in the week. An official opening date had not been announced as of press time Thursday.
