On Monday, May 20, members of the Loe family gathered at area cemeteries for the annual "eating on the graves." Attending this year were Chuck and Karen Erickson of Mandan, Arlo and Ruby Erickson of Grand Forks, Roger and Betty Westby of New Rockford and Jan Loe.

Sunday, Jan Loe attended the open house for Sandra Larson, 2019 graduate, at the home of her parents, Peter and Patti Larson.

Saturday evening, Patti Clifton attended the graduation open house celebration for Lucas Geiszler, son of Aaron Geiszler and Nicole Clifton Geiszler, in Carrington. On Sunday evening, Patti was in New Rockford for the graduation open house for Cassidy Clifton, daughter of Tony and Gina Clifton. Lucas and Cassidy are the grandchildren of Bob and Peg Clifton of Carrington.

Jeff and Denise Labrensz attended New Rockford-Sheyenne graduation on Sunday, May 26, followed by visits to some of the graduates' open houses.

Monday, May 27, Jeff and Denise Labrensz, along with Matt, Allison and Jase Pfeiffer, traveled to Fargo for the surprise 70th birthday celebration for Denise's sister, Debbie Roesler, that was hosted by Debbie's son and daughter and their families. Denise's sister, Dawn, from Fort Collins, Colo., was also able to attend. It was a good time visiting with relatives and friends.

The annual Memorial Day program and dinner sponsored by the Eddy County VFW and Auxiliary was once again well-attended with 150 plus enjoying the beautiful program and wonderful turkey and all-the-trimmings dinner.
