Here fishy, fishy! Drop a line at the fishing derby on June 1

The Eddy County Sheriff’s Department is once again playing host to the annual fishing derby.

On Saturday, June 1, bring the whole family to the New Rockford City Park at the north side of town to get in on the fun.

The derby will run from 9 a.m. until noon. There is no cost to enter the derby. Prizes, trophies, goodies and lunch will be provided.
