Chamber of commerce annual Easter egg hunt
Go hunting for the illustrious golden egg! The New Rockford Area Chamber of Commerce will begin posting daily clues on Monday. Watch the downtown electronic sign and our Facebook page for hints, then gather up your friends and family to search! When you find the golden egg, bring it to the Transcript office to receive your prize, $25 in Chamber bucks.

bunny hop 5K
An Easter tradition continues on Saturday, April 20 as runners and walkers race to the finish in the Bunny Hop 5K. Rockin’ Fitness, New Rockford’s 24/7 fitness center, is the sponsor of the event. Race day registration begins at 9 a.m.; the race starts at 10. Prizes will be awarded in three categories: Seniors 65+, Adults 18-64 and youth 17 and under. Cost is $35 for seniors/adults and $25 for youth.
