The Eddy County VFW Auxiliary held a meeting at the Sheyenne Senior Center last Tuesday afternoon.
Torsk was on the menu at the Eddy County VFW Clubhouse on Sunday. The annual fundraiser was sponsored by the VFW with assistance in the kitchen and setup from auxiliary members. About 50 area residents enjoyed the annual feed.
The Sheyenne Senior Center is open every Tuesday and Friday afternoon for visiting, games, and of course, coffee and goodies. The second Tuesday each month is Soup and Bible Study starting at 11:30 a.m. The last Tuesday of the month, a special birthday cake is served to celebrate the birthdays of members that month. Also, there are still some paperback books free for the taking in the lending library at the center. The shelves are full of lots of good reading!
