Last week: John and Donna Grann visited Lori Grann in Perth and then attended the District Boys Basketball tournament in Devils lake. New Rockford-Sheyenne Rockets took second in the tournament. Last Friday, John, Donna and Ben Grann attended North Central SCD Grass and Livestock Day in Maddock.

Two weeks ago, Jake, Amanda, Fallyn and Piper Hegland traveled to Rapid City, South Dakota to watch Amanda’s dad, Terry Weischedel, be inducted into the South Dakota Wrestling Coaches Hall of Fame. Congratulations to Mr. Weischedel. The Heglands enjoyed spending time with Amanda’s whole family.

This week: Pam Schmid spent this past week job training in Fargo. Tom joined her there for a couple of days. Tom and Jakob took in the horse pull at the North Dakota winter show in Valley City on Thursday.

Carrie Madson stayed with Kennedee and McKenzee Madson Wednesday and Thursday nights while Grandma Melodie attended job training in Grand Forks.

Sunday afternoon, Linda Madson, Carrie Madson and Kinley Poulsen were among the guests at Kennedee’s 10th birthday party at the ice rink at Burdick Arena. Following the party, Kennedee and McKenzee practiced for the upcoming ice show next weekend.

John and Donna Grann attended the Regional Boys Basketball tournament in Devils Lake Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. The New Rockford-Sheyenne Rockets are going to the State Class B in Minot! Donna Grann attended a meeting in Bismarck all day Wednesday. Lacey and Brittany Grann participated in the Valley City Winter Show Rodeo on Saturday evening. Ben Grann went along to watch them. Ben Grann turned 30 on Friday and a party was held for him at The Cove.
