Suicide prevention training set for Mar. 7

Eddy County Community Cares will be hosting a Suicide Prevention 'First Aid' Training on March 7 at the First Lutheran Church from 5-9 p.m.

Professionals from the Fargo Veteran Affairs Health Care System will provide the training, which is designed to improve first responders' engagement with those in crisis.

This event is free and open to the public, and the program can be tailored to be beneficial to others such as 911 dispatchers, social workers, assisted living professionals, home health nurses, clergy, teachers, bartenders, beauticians, or others who want to learn more about the warning signs of suicide and strategies for prevention.
