Obituary: Orlyn Rosenberg

Orlyn Dwaine Rosenberg, 77, Dent, Minn., died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018. Memorial services were held at David-Donehower Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes, Minn., on Nov. 20, 2018 at 11 a.m.

Orlyn was born July 26, 1941 in New Rockford, N.D. to Charles and June (Nibbe) Rosenberg.

He was raised on their family farm near Grace City until he married Cheri Rost in 1963. Together they had four children making their home in West Fargo, N.D.

In 2002 he married Mary (Reibe). He left the family farm in 1964 to work as an aviation mechanic and became a custom baler for farmers. Then found his home behind the wheel as an over the road truck driver for over 50 years. He enjoyed working as a groundskeeper for the city of McHenry.

He is survived by his children: Ronauda Moore, Detroit Lakes, Minn.; Vickie Swenson, Detroit Lakes; Renolle (Andy) Moltzan, Dent, Minn.; Cory(Larissa) Rosenberg, Fargo, N.D., 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Orlyn is proceeded in death by his parents, one brother, Lowel Rosenberg, and son-in-law Charles Moore.
