Seniors Elizabeth Widmer and Pieter Louters starred in the New Rockford-Sheyenne One-Act Play, "Lafayette No. 1" by Mandy Conner. This haunting historical drama features Lizzie Landry (Widmer) as she actively works to save a group of orphans forgotten during the yellow fever epidemic in 1816. The troupe gave a public performance on the stage of the NR-S Gym on Tuesday, then went to Jamestown to participate in the Region 5 One Act Play competition on Wednesday. They finished second overall.
