Cross Country runners compete at state meet

The New Rockford-Sheyenne girls cross country team competed in their final meet of the season on Saturday, Oct. 27 when they headed to Jamestown for the state contest. All runners competed in the 5K.

Elizabeth Widmer led the Rockets with a 69th place finish overall and a time of 22 minutes 14 seconds. She is the only senior the Rockets will lose to graduation.
