Last Wednesday, Patti Clifton was in Carrington to do some shopping. Later, she met Peg Clifton for noon lunch and a visit.

First Lutheran Church in Sheyenne held their annual Fall Dinner and Bake Sale at Ostby Hall on Sunday. Turkey and all the trimmings, fresh homemade buns and a variety of desserts were served to about 200 area residents coming to enjoy the meal and the music of Dakota Blende.

Late Sunday afternoon, Jeff and Denise Labrensz, Allison Pfeiffer and Jase and Patti Clifton attended the friends and family memorial service for Kate Langley, daughter of Gene and Peggy Langley, at the Warwick Lutheran Church.

Sunday morning, Jan Loe drove to Minot where she joined daughter Steph, who was in Minot for the weekend, for church at Zion Lutheran Church where Pastor Natasha is now an associate pastor. Jan, Steph and the Kolles family went out for lunch following worship. Later, Jan and Steph also attended the children's musical "Giants in The Sky" in which Medora Kolles performed. They did a little more visiting before returning home to Sheyenne.

The Eddy County Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Auxiliary will host its annual Veteran's Day supper for VFW and Auxiliary members and their spouses/guests at the clubhouse in Sheyenne on Sunday, November 11, at 6 p.m.
