Rockets give it their all in Carrington Tournament

New Rockford-Sheyenne (NR-S) varsity volleyball team traveled to Carrington on Saturday, Oct. 6 for a tournament. The Rockets won one, lost two and split one.

In pool play, the locals lost to Medina-Pingree-Buchanan (MPB) 25-18 and 25-18. They defeated Turtle Lake-Mercer (TLM) 25-9 and 25-11. The split with Rugby was 15-25 for the loss and 25-20 for the win.

Then in tourney play, NR-S lost to Benson County (BC) 25-21, 23-25, 12-15. Overall the Rockets had a decent day.
