New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the family of Jackie Aus.

Martin and Eloise enjoyed a phone call from son Alan and family recently from their home in Anchorage, Alaska where they had received a foot of snow in early June.

Jamie Larson of Crary was a Wednesday visitor at Grama Marion Larson's.

Ken Holte enjoyed a phone call filled with Father’s Day greetings from son Jerrod.  

Cody and Amanda Bickett and Fayette Hardy pooled good food including a favorite German chocolate cake for a tasty supper at the Ken and Marvis Holte home in celebration of Father’s Day.

Saturday evening Candy Jensen enjoyed a visit from Mary Jo Wallace.

Sunday Leo and Janet Laube and Yip Yip drove to Grace City where they enjoyed Fathers Day buffet at the School House café, which was followed by a drive around Juanita Lake.

Bonnie (Bass) Kuhen of Fargo stopped in at the Martin and Eloise Lucht home Tuesday.

All were among those who attended the funeral for Jackie (Johnson) Aus at the Lutheran Home of The Good Shepherd.

Shirley Packard and Calvin Packard and Rob and Marjorie Lies were among those who checked out the Circle Trail Riders Inc. potluck supper Saturday at the Ervin Longnecker home as all celebrated another successful ride. Among those taking part in the ride were

Leo and Janet Laube received a phone call of concern from Leo's sister Lois Ockert of Fargo letting them know that her husband Lester was recuperating from recent gallbladder surgery.
