Monday evening, Duff Settelmeyer, Bill and Diana Ziegler and Rob Lies were among those who attended the monthly meeting of the Circle Trail Riders Inc. at Hanson’s Bar. Final plans were made for the upcoming ride over Father’s Day weekend.

New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the families of Jim Van Lith, DeVon Allmaras, Jackie Aus and Janice Jordre.

Calvin Packard and Shirley Packard were among the few that attended the water infrastructure meeting at Brown Memorial, Thursday evening.

Myron and Karen Runge spent a couple days at the Lillian Gedrose home, this past week. The Runges took a break from their summer jobs in Medora, Myron with yard work and Karen in an ice cream shop. From Lillian’s they went into Minnesota for a graduation.

Taylor Koepplin and Amanda Indergaard initiated their new home in New Rockford on Saturday, with a BBQ and potluck picnic supper with family, friends and neighbors. All enjoyed visiting, burgers, brats, sausages and a passel of other food.

Terry and Sandy Koepplin, Candy Jensen, Gene Kaul, Mike and Jackie Williams were among those who attended funeral service for Jim Von Lith Friday morning at St. John’s Catholic Church in New Rockford.

Many area folks attended funeral service for DeVon Allmaras, Saturday, at St. John’s Catholic Church in New Rockford. Among them were Calvin Packard of the city commission and Shirley Packard of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Martin and Janelle Koepplin and KC returned Sunday from a few days in Brainerd, Minn,, where they were guests of daughter Trisha and Jay McMonagle, Wylie and Zaylie. They helped granddaughter, Zaylie, celebrate her third birthday. The McMonagles are in the process of moving back into their home after nearly seven months awaiting insurance settlements and repairs due to a sewer backup last November.
