Meier finds golden egg on her birthday

After receiving a tip from her grandmother, Lucy Meier headed to the former Stop 'N Shop gas station on U.S. Hwy. 281 Thursday morning to look for the Chamber's golden egg.

Accompanied by her dad, Preston Meier, she carefully scoured the grounds in search of a glimpse of gold. Dad searched up high, and she looked down low. On her second lap around, she saw a shimmer between two posts located on the southeast corner of the building.

Lucy brought the golden egg to the Transcript office that morning, and she shared that it was her birthday. Happy 12th Birthday to Lucy, and Happy Easter to all!
