Pleasant Prairie News: April 2, 2018

Several Pleasant Prairie folks, including John and Kathleen Lee and Ervin Longnecker, took in the Annual Community Credit Union Meeting and dinner Saturday at Ostby Hall in Sheyenne. Gary Anderson also took in the occasion.

Margie Anderson received a phone call from cousin Kathy Better with news of Kathy's sister, Jane Sampson, of Devils Lake. Jane had taken a bad fall on the ice, injuring a knee badly enough to ward surgery in the near future. Kathy and Jane are daughters of the late Stan and Helen Sampson, former long-time residents and farmers in Pleasant Prairie Township.

Saturday Andy and Ruth Braaten drove Esther Indergaard through the snowstorm to her dialysis appointment in Jamestown.

Monday Charlotte Koepplin was in New Rockford taking care of business. Tuesday afternoon Charlotte was a coffee guest at the Margie Anderson home. On Wednesday, Charlotte picked up Candy Jensen and they drove to Jamestown where Charlotte had an eye appointment. They enjoyed shopping and Chinese supper before returning home.

Ruth and Andy Braaten prepared Sunday dinner at the Jimmy Indergaard home. Those enjoying dinner and visiting were Tim and Bobbi Jo Indergaard, Amanda Indergaard and Taylor Koepplin.

Margie Anderson enjoyed a recent phone call from long-time friends Emily and Wallace Miller from their home in Spooner, Wis. The Millers are doing fine.
