Obituary: Michelle Williams

Michelle Anne Williams passed away on Feb. 26, 2018. She was born in New Rockford, N.D., to Jim and Connie Williams on July 4, 1951. Michelle's ashes will be buried with her father at Fairview Cemetery, Lake Williams, N.D. this summer. There will be a celebration of her life this July 4, 2018. She spent her childhood in New Rockford, where she graduated from High School in 1969. Michelle met Richard Elkins and they married and had one daughter. Michelle later divorced and moved to Grand Forks where she completed her bachelors in Fine Arts at the University of North Dakota. She then went on to complete her Interior Design degree at the Alexandria Technical & Community College, in Alexandria, Minn. During this time she met Ted Hauser and married. They had one son and one daughter and they lived in Grand Forks, N.D. for 15 years. In 2011 Michelle moved to Scottsdale, Ariz.

She was especially passionate and donated her time and creativity to help the annual Mardi Gras benefit for the Aberdeen Safe Harbor men, women and children's shelter.

Michelle is survived by her mother; sisters, Nancy Williamson, Connie Joy Williams, Mary Bell and Aimee Lehman (Sonny); brother Joe Williams; children, Nicci DeMarce (Chris), Jesse Hauser and Molly Green; stepson, Tycen Hauser; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father.
