Youth choir to entertain in Broadway Unbound

A troupe of young singers share the spotlight with more than two dozen other performers in DPRCA's Broadway Unbound, the local arts organization's late-winter fundraiser. The show opened March 3, and with just three performances left on March 9, 10 and 11, tickets are scarce!

Chock-a-block full of Broadway's greatest hits, this concert-style performance will entertain musical theatre fans of all generations.

Long-known as a company that encourages community members to audition and star in its productions, the DPRCA continues its "all are welcome" trend with Unbound. The musical selections have been carefully curated by Schwab to accommodate performers of all backgrounds and experience levels. "A great deal of thought goes into building a show like this," elaborates Schwab. "You have to strike a lot of balances: modern versus classical theatre, virtuosic versus basic style, upbeat versus mellow – you don't want to get bogged down by a bunch of beautiful ballads, no matter how much you love them!" The concert will feature over 20 selections from shows such as Les Miserables, Sweeney Todd, Oklahoma!, Grease, Pippin, The Last Five Years, Wicked, Annie, Hamilton, and more!
