    On Friday and Saturday, archers took aim at the New Rockford tournament and several local students found success in the NR-S gymnasium. Layton Jacobson led the Rockets at home and was named the top male archer in the tournament. He shot a 288, which also earned him the gold medal in the high school boys' division.     More than 300 archers converged in Carrington on Saturday, Jan. 27. It was the second tournament of the season for the NR-S squad, and they found success at all levels of competition.
