Ken Hansen, on behalf of the Carrington Runnings store, recently donated to the Breast Cancer Gas Card fund at CHI St. Alexius Health Carrington. There is another centenarian among us in Eddy County. Ervin Longnecker of New Rockford celebrated his 100th birthday on Monday, Dec. 3. Longnecker lives alone on his farm east of New Rockford and makes regular trips to town. The American Legion recognized Longnecker with a cake and celebration on Tuesday, Dec. 4. Longnecker proudly served in the U.S. Army from December 11, 1942 until December 14, 1945. He has been a member of the American Legion for 63 years....
