The Central Dakota Red Sox 12-and-under (12U) baseball team, consisting of players from New Rockford and Carrington, participated in the Class "B" Cal Ripken Baseball Tournament for that age group in Burlington July 21-22. They went 1-2 in pool play with losses to Park River and Casselton, and defeated Star City.
