New Rockford Transcript - Official Newspaper of Eddy County since 1883

The blizzard of March 15-16, 1902 had nearly everyone downtown "digging out" their businesses and workplaces. The storm stranded 83 train passengers in New Rockford. To say the least, business was anything but usual. Here several folks pose for a photo outside of the Transcript and Land Office buildings.
