    Carrington boys' wrestlers took the mats for a pair of duals Thursday night, Nov. 30, in the East Gym with new Region 2 opponents Northwood and Rugby, and came away with 24-3 and 48-12 victories. There was no time to rest, however, as they boarded the bus for the two-day Velva Invitational, and the condensed format of the weekend yielded many Cardinal points and two champions.     The 2023 annual CNDC tournament kicked off on Thursday, Nov. 30 in Rugby. Teams competing in the tournament were the New Rockford-Sheyenne Rockets, the Harvey/Wells County Hornets, the Glenburn Panthers, the Rugby Panthers, the TGU Titans, the St. John Woodchucks, the Drake-Anamoose Lady Raiders and the Minot North Sentinels.     Eddy County's auditor will vacate her position at year's end. Patty Williams, the county's auditor since 2015, has officially resigned amid recent controversy about voting machines used by Eddy County and other precincts across the country in the past two elections.
